I’ve been thinking a lot about how Luis would feel if he survived Valdelobos and then years later found out about what was happening in Africa. That everything he was trying to atone for was happening all over again. That the man behind it all was the very man he’d struck the deal for the plaga sample with. That he, unknowingly, had a hand in the horrors. Again.
